Travel: Up to $76/hr including stipend (Approx. $1710/week based on experience)
Local: Up to $65/hr (Approx. $1462.50/week)
Hours per Week: 22.5
Shift: 7.5 Hours per Day (3 Days per Week)
Schedule: Flexible shifts depending on department needs
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team in Brooklyn NY. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety accurate diagnostic imaging and adherence to radiation safety standards within a clinical environment.
Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Adjust kV and mA techniques to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment.
Administer contrast materials when required in accordance with physician orders and safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate patient imaging records and electronic documentation for radiologist interpretation.
Follow department documentation procedures including logs and charge capture.
Identify and report equipment issues while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Perform quality assurance and radiation safety procedures following ALARA principles.
Monitor patient condition before during and after imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
New York State License (L.R.T.) as a Radiologic Technologist.
ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT.
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
CT imaging and diagnostic radiography
Equipment calibration and quality control
Radiation safety and ALARA principles
Patient care and clinical assessment
Radiology documentation and compliance
Imaging protocols and workflow management
Experience with contrast or radiopharmaceutical administration
Knowledge of Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and electronic imaging records
Strong communication and patient care skills
