Position Overview
Millennium Physician Group part of Mosaic Health is seeking a PRN Certified Medical Assistant to support our busy 17provider practice. The ideal candidate is dependable compassionate and able to work open shifts during normal business hours. Experience in Family Medicine or Urgent Care is a plus.
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Complete patient intakes vitals histories and medication reviews
Assist with exams minor procedures wound care and diagnostic testing
Perform EKGs immunizations specimen collection and pointofcare testing
Prepare and process lab samples
Support triage care coordination and patient education
Document in the EHR (Athena preferred)
Schedule appointments referrals and authorizations
Verify insurance and assist with prior auths and basic billing
Maintain exam rooms supplies and infectioncontrol standards
Provide professional compassionate patient service
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited MA program
Active CMA RMA or CCMA certification
Current BLS certification
1 year CMA experience preferred
Strong clinical skills and EHR proficiency
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
