Job Summary

Onsite: Sunnyvale CA

The main function of a Technical Program Manager is to provide successful definition implementation and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and/or related activities. This role requires program management experience in fields such as semiconductor hardware consumer electronics and cameras used in consumer electronics.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver programs within the constraints of scope quality time and budget under circumstances involving multiple moderate-probability moderate-impact risk factors.
  • Conduct program-level strategic planning interact with executive-level management resolve complex issues and demonstrate excellent communication and team-building skills.
  • Manage groups of internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors serving on projects to deliver systems and system enhancements that meet specified requirements.
  • Oversee project scope definition and management requirements gathering and documentation time estimating project schedule development and tracking project budget management project status reporting issue and risk management contingency planning customer interaction and communications across multiple organizational levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering electrical engineering or a related field required; MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP or PMI certification.
  • Experience in camera module hardware development using the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
  • Consumer electronics experience.
  • Knowledge of optics and mechanical systems.
  • Semiconductor experience.
  • Skills in project estimating scheduling and tracking customer interaction and management and implementation planning in large organizations.
  • Proven people management and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and managing competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn business processes and work well with business partners at different organizational levels.
  • Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale multi-platform systems environment.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle.
