Salary 25838 per annum and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Permanent full time - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Based in Hartford Road Huntingdon with travel to customers homes in the surrounding towns.

This is a great opportunity to join our team. As our Housing and Property Lead youll focus on tenancy support for our customers ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained.

Providing a housing management service youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure long-term accommodation!

What youll do

• Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.

• Help our customers with housing benefit claims making sure that these are received on their rent account.

• Where there is a need youll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court.

• Getting rooms ready for the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy youll turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timescales.

• Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.

You have

• Experience in managing a housing caseload and handle landlord and housing management duties

• Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units collecting rents and taking formal tenancy action when needed.

• Able to take on a lead role within the team offering guidance and support to your colleagues

• A can do positive attitude youre proactive and well organised and able to work on your initiative.

• Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners

The practical bits

• Flexible working hours- Work pattern Monday to Friday 9-5

• Based at our service in Huntingdon youll also spend your time travelling around the properties in our patch.

• Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups

• To get from A to B youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

• Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
