As a Security Officer - Overnight Front Deskin Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Front Desk officer at a busy retail and mall location you will welcome guests manage access control and/or badges monitor cameras and alarm panels and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will be a visible service-focused presence supporting store teams and visitors while helping to reduce incidents. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants shoppers and/or visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry points and lobby activity greet and direct visitors and support a welcoming retail and mall environment while helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain visitor logs issue badges or passes as required and verify identification according to site guidelines.
• Answer phones and respond to requests for assistance escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
