DescriptionAs a Sr Trade Compliance Analyst here at Honeywell you will ensure compliance with international trade regulations develop and implement policies and minimize risks related to import/export violations. You will report directly to our Logistics Manager and youll work out of our Mexicali BC location on an On-site work schedule.
You will oversee and deliver effective trade operations while delivering solutions and managing multiple projects and issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Participate in prioritizations and enhancements act as point of escalation for complex issues perform root cause analysis track and enable permanent solutions for Trade and Logistics topics.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Oversee Import / Export activities including legal requirements.
- Customs focal point.
- ITAR Regulations focal.
- Manage entire operations transitions from foreign locations to Mexico including all Logistics aspects (Trade Transportation Warehousing Packaging and others).
- Run CTPAT / OEA Monthly/Annual Assessments accordingly.
- Responsible for Annual Inventory - Consignment.
- Run DPAS Monthly Audit.
- Support Company Audits.
- Support Gov Audits.
- Follow up and update Customs procedures.
- Elaborate / Audit Anexo 24 & 31 monthly reports.
- Coordinate brokers activities for customs clearance when required.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Customs laws (Global adherence).
- Enforce duty savings.
- Support new Customs/Logistics initiatives.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree (Trade Customs International Law).
- Five years of experience as a Trade Compliance Analyst or equivalent.
- Five years of experience managing asset controls (Customs)
- Proficiency on Customs and MRP Systems.
- Advanced English Level
