Child Caregiver York PA 17402 (Part-Time Special Needs Care)

A family in York PA 17402 is seeking a compassionate Child Caregiver to provide care for their 6 year old who has special needs. Caregiver will work temporarily starting February 26th until mid April M-F 7am-8:20am 6:00pm-9:00pm and weekend day time hours with flexibility while mom recovers from surgery. After school hours are available M-F 3:45pm-6:00pm. Additional hours needed when school is closed and the client is at daycare for extended hours.

Schedule:

• M-F 7am-8:20am 6:00pm-9:00pm weekend day time hours with flexibility.
• M-F 3:45pm-6:00pm. Additional hours needed when school is closed and the client is at daycare for extended hours.

Family Environment:

• Smoke Free Home
• parent will be present just not physically able to assist

After School Hours

• Daycare/Afterschool Program

Responsibilities:

• Help with activities of daily living (bath getting dressed toileting etc.) light meal prep walking out to the bus (during morning hours).
• After School Program Responsibilities include General care and supervision assistance with ADLs in an afterschool setting. Reminders to use the bathroom and documentation per physician request

Requirements:

• Must be able to reliably commute

Preferred Qualifications:

• First aid/CPR certification
• Home Health Aide Certification or willing to train

Compensation:

• Morning hours will be $40 per day
• After school Care Evening and weekend care will be $14 per hour
