Are you an enthusiastic English ECT ready to inspire a love of reading writing and creativity in young people
Ribbons & Reeves are seeking a passionate English ECT to join the partnered schools English department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious English ECT to begin their teaching career in a supportive and forward-thinking school.
We are looking for an English ECT who can bring literature to life spark curiosity in the classroom and help students find their voice through language.
The Role English ECT - As an English ECT you will:
- Teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Inspire students through literature poetry and creative writing
- Encourage students to develop confidence in reading and communication
- Work collaboratively within a supportive English department
- Take part in the schools structured ECT programme
Support for an English ECT - Every English ECT will receive:

We Are Looking for an English ECT Who:
- Has (or is working towards) QTS
- Has strong subject knowledge in English
- Is passionate about literature and language

- Is committed to inspiring young readers and writers
