Project Manager ()
Project introduction:
Following the establishment of the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong (CMHHK) in December 2025 this largescale project aims to further develop and implement standardised Integrated ChineseWestern Medicine (ICWM) Treatment Pathways for major chronic diseases. The project includes SOP enhancement evidence appraisal multidisciplinary expert collaboration pilot testing pathway implementation and continuous updating.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the full implementation of ICWM treatment pathway development in the postestablishment phase of CMHHK;
- Managing project timelines in accordance with the structured project plan and clinical service needs;
- Coordinating with the Principal Investigator CoInvestigators clinical teams research teams and external experts to ensure smooth project execution;
- Leading and monitoring the development refinement and implementation of SOPs supporting ICWM services in the new hospital;
- Managing multidisciplinary working groups and facilitating effective communication and collaboration;
- Supervising evidence collection and quality appraisal activities;
- Supporting the drafting of treatment pathways and coordinating surveys consultations and consensusbuilding exercises;
- Overseeing pilot studies and ensuring feedback is systematically incorporated into pathway revision;
- Maintaining governance documentation including records reports and compliance files;
- Preparing progress monitoring and evaluation reports for hospital leadership and research committees; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree preferably in health sciences public health project management research administration biomedical sciences Chinese Medicine or related disciplines;
- Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in project management healthcare administration or largescale multidisciplinary programmes;
- Work experience in clinical pathway development is highly desirable;
- Strong experience in coordinating with academic clinical or healthcare professionals is preferred;
- Knowledge of evidencebased methodology clinical pathways or healthcare SOP development is an advantage;
- Strong organisational analytical and communication skills;
- Ability to manage timelines resources and complex workflows across multiple teams;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua; and
- Proficiency in documentation reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Working location: The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong Tseung Kwan O
The appointee will be required to work on weekends and/or public holidays.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a written test and an interview.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
