The Service Relationship Specialist role represents Manulife externally with existing and potential corporate clients (large and jumbo) as well as our key Advisor Firms and Partners. They work alongside the Account Executives in this client facing role and supports our distribution partners in the delivery of value-added benefits and superior service to Plan Advisors/Consultants and Plan Sponsors. This position requires strong entrepreneurial skills to accelerate the growth of our portfolio carry out the necessary tasks and ensure the retention of large clients.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist distribution partners in securing new contracts; participate in and support finalist presentations and implementation meetings. Help internal partners finalize new contracts as an intermediary; participate as a specialist in finalist presentations and periodic meetings focused on the implementation of new business.
Address inquiries related to insurance plans and resolve complex queries escalated by plan sponsors benefits advisors or other consultants as well as internal service contacts. Have a thorough understanding of and adhere to the specific requirements of each client while considering the time frame allowed to ensure a comprehensive response.
Build and maintain successful and lasting relationships with current and potential partners on behalf of Manulife.
Conduct informational sessions for employee groups to facilitate the enrollment process or educate them about their group insurance plan (in person or remotely).
Meet with plan administrators to provide training and information that will help them effectively manage their plans.
Required Qualifications
Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation or currently pursuing the designation.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of Group Insurance products and services.
Establishing and strengthening relationships with current clients and advisors.
Proven ability to take ownership of work and demonstrate initiative and integrity.
Must have a valid drivers license and a personal automobile.
Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

Salary range is expected to be between
$71475.00 CAD - $119125.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
