Job Summary
MRI Technologist Diagnostic Radiology
Location: New York NY 1468
Duration: 9 Weeks
Shift: 12:00 AM 8:00 AM
Pay:
Local: $2700/week
Travel: $3244/week
Position Overview
The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety high-quality imaging and compliance with departmental protocols.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans according to established protocols
Position patients and select appropriate MRI coils for optimal imaging
Review MRI safety screening forms before procedures
Monitor patient safety and comfort during scans
Evaluate images for quality and accuracy
Upload images to PACS and complete exam documentation
Maintain MRI equipment rooms and supplies
Follow MRI safety and infection control guidelines
Assist physicians during imaging procedures when needed
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology
ARRT MRI Certification
BCLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of MRI Technologist experience
Experience in hospital or clinical radiology settings
