Job Description
As a Security Guard for Commercial Office in Cerritos CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter incidents. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients contractors and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents service requests and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting details and communicating updates to site contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points alarms and/or camera systems as assigned helping to control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements and visitor management procedures.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports maintain shift logs and assist with administrative tasks such as key control and badge management as directed by site policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
