What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures access control requirements and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reports of disorderly conduct unauthorized access disturbances and/or medical-related emergencies as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings corridors parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards unlocked doors and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances restricted areas and visitor flow assisting with badge checks directions and/or escort requests in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Document patrols incidents and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
