About the Role:

Were seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. As a Senior QA Engineer youll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies.

At MoEngage product development is a team effort. Our small cross-functional teams of engineers product managers and designers work together to bring features to life. As a Senior QA Engineer youll be an integral part of one of these teams responsible for ensuring the quality of our products from start to finish.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Test Planning to Execution: Plan design maintain and execute test cases with minimal direction ensuring high-quality software delivery.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage software project quality from inception to delivery.

• Write and maintain automation test suite delivering end-to-end testing solutions for complex projects.

• Driving quality by collaborating with other departments to resolve customer issues.

• Solve complex problems with minimal guidance leading projects and driving initiatives to improve QA effiecncy.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members promoting skill development and experience.

Requirements:

• Experience 1-2 years only.

• Strong Fundamentals of Software Testing.

• API automation experience with tools like Postman/Newman RestAssured or any other tool Mandatory.

• Skilled in developing and maintaining automated API validation scripts.

• Experience in creating well-defined Test Strategies for various types of Functional Exploratory and Regression testing initiatives

• Experience in writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

• Experience in UI automation using any tools such as Selenium or Playwright

• Proficiency in understanding issues in complex web application issues through log analysis.

• Working knowledge with bug tracking and collboration tools such as JIRA Confluence.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for articulating technical concepts to stakeholders.

• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight possessing a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative

Bonus:

• Proficiency in developing and executing test plans and automation scripts using Python and test frameworks such as Pytest.

• Experience with Jenkins or other CI tools.

• Understanding of Cloud Computing Platforms such as AWS

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system.

• Knowledge of No SQL databases (Mongo) / SQL.

• Contribution to Open-source projects.
