We are currently looking for a Technical Training Specialist (Automotive Coatings) Belgium and France to join us at one of our facilities in Mechelen (Belgium).
The Technical Training Specialist serves as a key link between the Regional Training Leader and Training Instructors delivering standardized training programs to internal and external customers across the region.
In this role the Technical Training Specialist will provide highquality technical training contribute to content development and help maintain a consistent bestinclass training experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver facetoface and virtual (webcast) training sessions
- Plan schedule and coordinate training activities across the region
- Ensure consistent use of approved training content and maintain training data dashboards
- Provide guidance and support to training instructors (where applicable)
- Conduct customer demonstrations and support industry events
- Collaborate with business customer and regional teams to align training with market needs
- Gather and act on training feedback to continuously improve delivery quality
- Contribute to content development as a subjectmatter expert
- Manage product inventory and training materials at the training center
- Support local execution of regional Product & Color strategies
- Ensure the training center meets security safety operational and branding standards
- Oversee facility management including contracts POs equipment maintenance and cleanliness
Key requirements:
- Min 3 years of refinish industry knowledge and practical experience (strong product process and application knowledge)
- Min 5 years of training experience
- Fluent in French and in Flemish; professional English
- Travel: relevant to regional needs (at least 50% of the time)
- Excellent I.T. skills (MS Office paint software)
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking
