Job Summary

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
- Prepares tax and title documents.
- Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications.
- Check for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
- Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
- Processes out-of-state titles and registrations.
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles.
- Processes yearly renewal of dealer tags in conjunction with controller..
- Processes trade documents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintains accurate log of titles coming in.
- Processing dealer trades and wholesale transactions.
- Post vehicle transactions to accounting for all sales
- Reconcile Schedules and Accounts
- Report sales and apply for rebates
- Prepare daily report of contracts and vehicle receivables due
- Process after sale warranties and related documents for month end.
- Maintaining strict compliance with all Titling laws and filing requirements.
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution specific to titles; odometer discrepancies power of attorney etc.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Drivers License (Preferred)
