Supplier Development Engineer II

You will report directly to our Manager of Supplier Development.

In this role you will impact our supplier development efforts by leveraging your expertise to improve supplier capabilities and performance which is crucial for our operational excellence and overall success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute supplier development strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide technical expertise in supplier development processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics.
  • 2 years of experience in supplier development or related engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes and supplier performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies including Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience with supplier audits and root cause analysis techniques.

  • Experience in supplier quality management and development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in supplier development.
