Job Summary
Seeking a hard working Forklift Driver / Warehouse Assistant
Must have matric and valid forklift license!
Must have matric and valid forklift license!
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
-
Load and off-load trucks and containers safely and efficiently
-
Pick check and prepare pipe orders accurately
-
Receive stock from production and allocate it to the correct locations
-
Perform regular stock replenishment
-
Adhere strictly to FIFO (First-In First-Out) principles
-
Working with power tools and building/crating pallets frames for filters
-
Assist with packing of goods and stock takes
-
Assist with assembling micro- and family drip products
-
Ensure housekeeping in and around the yard is up to standard
-
Carry out additional tasks as required by management
-
Maintain 5s standards within the yard
-
Participate in Netafim proactive reporting and uphold the company HSE standards
Skills and Abilities
-
Language: Proficient in English Afrikaans advantageous
-
Literacy good written and verbal communication in English
-
Physically fit and able to perform labour-intensive work
-
Must be prepared to work overtime as needed
-
Must have reliable transport
-
Valid forklift license with practical experience
-
A valid South African drivers license will be advantageous.
Education and Experience
-
Minimum qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
-
3 years working experience in yard or warehouse
Employment offer
-
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08h00-17h00 and Friday 08h00-16h00.

Permanent employment subject to probation period of three (3) months
