We are seeking an Production Chef who will be energetic to help build and maintain our off-premise delivery service of drop off catering to business and residential clients.
Position Overview
Two Unique Catering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Chef to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and menu components that support both business-to-business catering and private event catering.
Our events vary in size guest count and service style including interactive stations small plates and seated dinnersrequiring a prep cook who is organized efficient and adaptable in a fast-paced event-driven kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and menu components according to company recipes and production standards
- Support production for corporate and private event catering menus
- Maintain consistency and quality across all food preparation
- Follow all food safety sanitation and kitchen safety protocols
- Always maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Assist culinary team members with daily prep lists and production goals
- Accurately label store and rotate food products according to food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen leadership regarding production needs
- Adapt to changing production demands based on event schedules and business needs
Skills Knowledge & Expertise
- Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience required
- Strong knife skills and foundational culinary techniques
- Well-rounded knowledge of food products ingredients and preparation methods
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Ability to follow recipes and standardized production procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume catering environment
Certifications
Serve Safe Certification required OR willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of employment through the company-provided training platform.
Schedule Expectations
This is an event-driven culinary position requiring flexibility in scheduling including:
- Limited evenings
- Weekends and peak event periods as needed
