Role: FEA Engineer
Location: Chillicothe Illinois Onsite (Relocation assistance is provided by the client)

Job Description

Degree Requirements:
PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Material science Civil Engineering or Aerospace Engineering)

Other Requirements:
Programming skills (C Python)
Must be willing to travel and relocate domestically.
Proficient in ABAQUS Hypermesh Simlab or other commercial FE software packages
Experienced on static stress analysis heat transfer nonlinear material and large deformation contact/impact dynamics and thermal mechanical FEA analysis using ABAQUS

Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Knowledge of mechanical systems (engines drivetrains hydraulics etc.)
Knowledge of robust design and optimization
Background and interest in physics-based analysis of systems and components
Knowledge & experience in Machine Learning
Ability to write efficient well-documented code in Python
Experience with the operation design and/or testing of heavy machinery equipment Excellent analytical skills
Ability to perform complex assignments
