Summary:

• Develop and maintain detailed and assembly-level designs for aerospace components and systems.

• Review and interpret engineering drawings blueprints specifications and work orders to ensure accuracy of design.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing test and liaison engineering to ensure designs meet customer and regulatory requirements.

• Perform design checks and validations to ensure assemblies conform to dimensional functional and safety requirements.

• Support design reviews provide feedback and document discrepancies or design improvement recommendations.

• Create and update CAD models and technical drawings using CATIA or equivalent solid modeling tools

Requirements:

• Associate degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 6 years of experience in aerospace design including work with detail parts assemblies and installations.

• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) tools with a basic understanding of design product structures.

• Experience in machining of metallic parts.

• Solid modeling experience using CATIA or an equivalent CAD tool.

• Experience with Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT) for design review and visualization.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
