Job Summary

description:

Performs ultrasound technical duties for imaging heart muscle and functions. Creates images of the heart cardiac chambers valves and vessels for the purpose of assessing heart functions and diagnoses. Collaborates closely with cardiologists performing the technical aspects of examinations evaluating findings and reporting them to cardiologists.

requirement:

Day Shift - 4x10s can include weekends once every 5 weeks. 7:30A-6PMEducation and Work Experience:Bachelors Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelors): PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Currently certified or eligible to be certified with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): RequiredEchocardiography (ECG) certification: PreferredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: RequiredOregon Board Sonographer license (OR-SNG): Required
