Job Summary

Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 4 Months
Location: Indianapolis IN 46222

Shift: Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM OR 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Role Overview
Perform laboratory testing to support food safety and product quality
Conduct analysis on in-process and finished products
Maintain laboratory equipment records and safety standards

Responsibilities
Perform routine food safety and quality testing on products
Conduct laboratory analysis and record results in databases
Communicate testing results verbally and in written reports
Monitor maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments
Follow laboratory safety procedures and participate in safety meetings
Assist with laboratory trials and experiments under supervision
Evaluate and interpret test data and identify abnormal results
Maintain laboratory inventory and order supplies when needed
Handle technical and administrative tasks with minimal supervision
Escalate complex testing or quality issues when required

Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of related laboratory experience
Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation
Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards
Ability to work weekend shifts
Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Nice to Have
3 years of laboratory or food manufacturing experience
Data entry experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience working in food safety or quality testing environments
