Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS Python and ETL processes and will support data integration transformation and analytics initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design build and optimize ETL data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics needs
- Develop and maintain data solutions on AWS cloud platform
- Write efficient and scalable Python scripts for data processing and automation
- Work with large datasets to ensure data quality integrity and performance
- Collaborate with data analysts data scientists and business stakeholders to gather requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and pipeline failures
- Implement best practices for data governance security and documentation
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for high performance and cost efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience working as a Data Engineer
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services (such as S3 Glue Redshift Lambda or EMR) Proficiency in Python programming for data engineering tasks
- Solid experience in ETL development and data pipeline architecture
- Experience working with SQL and relational / NoSQL databases
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and big data processing
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow)
- Knowledge of data modeling and performance tuning
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices in data environments
