Contract Type: Temporary (1 Month)
Start Date: Immediate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organised Medical Receptionist to join our team on a temporary one-month contract starting immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing front desk administrative support and ensuring a professional and welcoming service for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

  • Answering telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries

  • Booking cancelling and managing appointments

  • Updating and maintaining patient records using SystmOne

  • Handling patient queries and directing them to the appropriate staff member

  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence

  • Supporting general administrative tasks within the practice

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist in a GP practice

  • Experience using SystmOne

  • Must hold a valid NHS Smartcard

  • Good communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

Contract Details:

  • Temporary contract for 1 month

  • Immediate start required
