Location: Fitzwilliam Hospital Peterborough

Hours: 37.5 weekly hours

Shift patterns: Varied shifts including Monday-Saturday 7am to 3pm12md to 8pm and Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm

The role:

We have a great opportunity for a Porter to join our team at Fitzwilliam Hospital. You will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.
With a strong focus on customer service our team of Porters provide a vital service in our hospital. Although escorting patients in a safe and friendly manner is a key function of the role you will also be required to provide general porter services to all hospital departments. Duties will include management of waste transit of blood and specimens changing and handling of gas cylinders and manual handling of equipment.

Fitzwilliam Hospital is one of Cambridgeshires leading independent hospitals with a reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services since 1983. The hospital is situated in the quiet landscaped grounds of the Milton Estate in Peterborough and has 54 single bedrooms and one twin-bedded room all with en suite facilities. The hospital provides services for both private and NHS patients. By investing in advanced medical technology the hospital offers a state-of-the-art range of treatments and services. The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre suite is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as spinal surgery arthroscopy hip replacements and knee.
