Job Title: Evening Shift Porter
Location: Swansea
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday 18:00 to 22:00
This role is in support of Cencoras wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
Summary of Role
The Evening Shift Porter is responsible for accurately sorting and distributing orders within the transport operation ensuring deliveries are allocated to the correct van routes and areas. The role supports the smooth and secure movement of goods while maintaining compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Health and Safety and company procedures.
Responsibilities
Safely transfer loads to the despatch bay.
Accurately sort and distribute orders to the correct van routes and areas.
Ensure correct distribution and storage of trays and bins.
Adhere to all checking and sign off procedures.
Maintain standards in accordance with Health and Safety policies.
Follow damage awareness procedures and report any issues promptly.
Understand and work in line with agreed productivity standards.
Maintain awareness of security requirements at all times.
Keep work areas clean tidy and well organised.
Work in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards completing all required training and annual refreshers.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Shift and Location
This role is based at the Swansea site within a transport and warehouse environment. On occasion the role may be carried out with limited supervision.

Skills and Knowledge
High visual accuracy and attention to detail.

Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Customer focused approach.
Desirable
Previous experience working in a warehouse or transport environment.
Manual Handling
Manual handling tasks including lifting and bending are essential requirements of this role. Applicants must be able to safely carry out these duties.
