Our Project Manager is accountable for developing strategies that drive project milestones and optimize costs across assigned projects or project components. This role is integral to planning executing and delivering projects on time within scope and within budget. Success in this position requires strong leadership clear communication and exceptional problemsolving abilities to guide crossfunctional teams and ensure project objectives are achieved. This position will be based out of either our Concord ON or Coquitlam BC office.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture for all employees vendors and customers and following all safety policies procedures and regulations. Identifying and communicating workplace hazards and correcting or seeking assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
• Overseeing all phases of construction projects from initiation through completion ensuring alignment with project objectives budgets and schedules.
• Developing detailed project plans encompassing scope schedules budgets resource planning and risk assessments.
• Collaborating with project stakeholders to define project requirements goals and deliverables.
• Leading and motivating cross-functional project teams providing clear direction support and guidance.
• Monitoring project performance proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Managing project budgets expenditures and costcontrol measures to achieve financial targets.
• Liaising with clients architects engineers subcontractors and suppliers to foster effective communication and collaboration.
• Overseeing procurement activities including bid analysis vendor selection and contract negotiations.
• Preparing and delivering project status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Facilitating effective problemsolving and conflict resolution to address challenges efficiently.
• Championing continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen project processes and outcomes.
• Conducting postproject reviews to evaluate performance successes challenges and lessons learned.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Registered as P.L. Eng with PEO in Ontario or EGBC in British Columbia.
• Minimum of 8-years of construction and project management experience.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million.
• Related construction experience in the rehabilitation of underground infrastructure utilizing various techniques including Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) Sprayed-in-Place-Pipe (SIPP) and Sliplining.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes methodologies and industry best practices. Expertise in fields such as civil sewer construction and trenchless rehabilitation is an asset.
• Proficient with Primavera MS Project and Blue Beam.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team.
