Stamford Plaza Brisbane is seeking a commercially experienced Rooms Division Manager to join the Leadership Team.
This is a leadership position reporting to the hotel General manager and will oversee Front Office Housekeeping and guest service operations to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Rooms Division including Front Office Concierge Housekeeping and Night Audit to ensure smooth coordination and a consistently high standard of guest service.
- Leading the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes well-maintained guest rooms prompt issue resolution and service standards that reflect the hotels brand and positioning.
- Driving operational performance across the division by monitoring room inventory occupancy service delivery labour productivity and departmental workflows to maximise efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Managing the financial performance of the division including budgeting forecasting payroll and labour cost control linen and operating expenses and the achievement of departmental targets.
- Building coaching and developing a high-performing Rooms Division team through effective leadership training performance management succession planning and close collaboration with HR on recruitment and employee engagement.
- Ensuring full compliance with hotel policies brand standards workplace health and safety requirements audit standards and operating procedures across all areas of responsibility.
- Working closely with other department heads to support overall hotel operations maintain service consistency and contribute to the achievement of broader business goals.
What We Are Looking For
- 810 years of hotel operations experience including at least 3 years in a senior Rooms Division or Front Office leadership role within a 45 star hotel.
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing large teams and multiple operational functions.
- Commercially minded with solid understanding of budgets revenue performance and operational controls.
- Strong knowledge of PMS POS reporting systems and hotel service standards.
- A hands-on calm and guest-focused leader who leads from the front and builds high-performing teams.
