About therole:

Make areal difference in the lives of young people and their is looking for a passionate and dedicated facilitatorto join our Early Psychosis Psychosocial Supports team as aWellbeing Peer Support. This program provides supports foradolescents and young people aged 12-25 who are ar risk of or haveexperienced a first episode of psychosis.

Atypical day will look like:

  • Work alongside young people and their families to build resilience and support recovery.
  • Provide one-on-one and group sessions tailored to each persons needs.
  • Help with everyday skills education vocational goals and community connections.
  • Collaborate with mental health services and community networks for integrated care.
  • Deliver inclusive and culturally safe support for diverse communities.

MandatoryRequirements:

  • Completed tertiary qualifications (Minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health Peer Work Psychology Social Work Occupational Therapy or other health related field as designated by AnglicareCQ and
  • 2 years relevant work experience in the Mental Health Sector

  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
  • Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
