Bilingual Stipend:$5500
ACE Stipends (Based on Assignment)
- STAAR Tested Area Teachers:$10000
Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Teachers / Interventionists:$5000
All Other Teachers:$2500
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Provide highly effective data-driven instruction that accelerates student achievement on an Accelerating Campus Excellence (ACE) campus. ACE teachers support the districts school turnaround strategy by implementing rigorous instructional practices participating in structured instructional coaching and professional learning cycles and collaborating closely with campus leadership to rapidly improve student outcomes.
Teachers assigned to ACE campuses are expected to demonstrate strong instructional practice a commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to work within a highly collaborative results-driven environment focused on measurable student growth.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university required.
Certification
- Valid Texas teaching certificate appropriate for grade level and/or subject area assignment required.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with Bilingual Education endorsement required.
- Teachers assigned toPre-Kindergarten through Grade 3 and Special Educationmust hold or obtain:
- Reading Academy completion or equivalent credential or
- Science of Teaching Reading (STR) certification in accordance with state requirements.
Qualifications

- Two or more years of successful classroom teaching experience
Preferred
- Experience working with diverse student populations

Teachers selected for ACE campuses must demonstrate strong instructional effectiveness through one of the following pathways:
Pathway 1 Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Designation
- Holds an active TIA designation (Recognized Exemplary or Master)
- Proficient or higher overall T-TESS evaluation rating
- Strong evaluation history with no Improvement Needed ratings
Pathway 2 Student Growth Evidence
- Demonstrated student growth through TEA Value-Added Model (VAM) or comparable district student growth measures
- Proficient or higher overall T-TESS evaluation rating
- Strong evaluation history with no Improvement Needed ratings
Pathway 3 Comprehensive Professional Readiness
- Strong evaluation history with no Improvement Needed ratings
- Evidence of effective instructional practices and student growth
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
- Knowledge of subjects assigned and strong understanding of curriculum and instruction
- Knowledge of bilingual instructional strategies and second language acquisition
- Ability to deliver instruction in both English and Spanish in accordance with bilingual program requirements
- Ability to deliver rigorous data-driven instruction aligned to state standards

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Instruction and Student Achievement
- Implement high-quality standards-aligned instruction designed to accelerate student learning and close achievement gaps.
- Plan and deliver lessons that incorporate effective instructional strategies differentiation and student engagement.
- Utilize a variety of instructional media and teaching techniques appropriate to student needs and learning styles.
- Set clear learning objectives and monitor student progress toward mastery.
- Participate in structured lesson internalization and collaborative planning processes aligned to campus instructional priorities.
- Provide instruction in both English and Spanish as required by the bilingual education program.
- Support language development while delivering rigorous grade-level academic instruction.
Data Analysis and Student Progress Monitoring
- Monitor and analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions.
- Track student progress using teacher trackers formative assessment data and goal-setting systems.
- Use formative and summative assessments to identify student needs and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance attendance and academic progress.
- Participate in regular data cycles and instructional planning meetings.
Classroom Management and Learning Environment
- Establish and maintain a positive structured classroom environment that supports student learning and engagement.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies aligned with campus expectations.
- Monitor student behavior in classrooms hallways and assigned duty stations.
- Maintain a learning environment that is safe inclusive and conducive to academic success.
Professional Collaboration and Coaching
- Participate in all required professional development and training which may occur within or outside the regular instructional day or employee work calendar.
- Participate actively in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and collaborative planning sessions.
- Attend PLC meetings prepared with lesson internalization and instructional materials.
- Work closely with instructional coaches campus administrators and colleagues to improve instructional practice.
- Implement feedback received through instructional coaching and classroom observations.
- Contribute to a collaborative culture focused on improving student outcomes.
Family and Community Engagement
- Participate in all parent conferences school events and family engagement activities that may occur within or outside the school day or employee work calendar.
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents and families regarding student progress.
- Inform parents of academic programs expectations and student performance.
- Promote understanding of the schools academic programs and goals within the community.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain professionalism in conduct communication and work ethic.
- Remain current in educational practices through professional learning workshops and training.
- Adhere to the Texas Education Code of Ethics and district policies.
- Cooperate with school administrators and staff in supporting campus initiatives and student success.
- Maintain accurate records related to student progress attendance and parent communication.
Additional Duties
- Supervise students in classrooms hallways and other assigned areas.
- Assist with campus programs events and activities.
- Supervise aides volunteers and student teachers when applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned by campus administration.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Maintain emotional control under standing walking stooping bending kneeling pushing and small stacks of textbooks media equipment desks and other classroom equipment as needed.
The position may require participation in professional development collaborative planning sessions and instructional meetings beyond the standard school day as part of the ACE instructional model.
