This is a part time per-diem position. Shifts vary between 7:00 am - 9:00 pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Youth Apprentice to:

Receive on-the-job training in a variety of different departments within the hospital system to identify the area you are most interested in.
Provide a high level of customer service and compassion to patients and families.
Opportunities are available in several departments.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a school-approved youth apprentice (YA) program Required
16 years old at the beginning of students school year Required
Completion of at least two (2) health science courses or other related coursework Preferred

Work Experience

6 months customer service experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Certified Nursing Assistant Phlebotomy Certification or Pharm Tech Certification Preferred
