Abra Auto Body & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician Apprentice to join our growing team!

You dont need previous body shop experience to apply. We provide hands-on training and mentorship so you can learn the skills needed to become a professional Auto Body Technician.
Candidates with automotive body repair schooling or technical training are preferred but not required. We welcome applicants who are eager to learn and ready to build a long-term career.
Previous experience in automotive mechanical work construction or other hands-on trades is helpful but not required.
What Youll Do
As an Auto Body Technician Apprentice you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn collision repair skills and assist with vehicle repairs.
Responsibilities include:
Assist technicians with vehicle repairs according to estimates and manufacturer standards
Help prepare vehicles for body repair work
Learn panel replacement body repair and sheet metal straightening techniques
Assist with inspecting parts and verifying repair estimates
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
Help ensure vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently
Follow all shop safety procedures and quality standards
Work collaboratively with team members to complete repairs
Apprentice Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who are motivated and eager to learn.
Preferred qualifications include:
Automotive body repair schooling or technical training preferred but not required
Strong interest in the automotive collision repair industry
Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
