The Role
Were looking for a Financial Analyst to support multiple projects across design and construction phases. Youll handle budget tracking reporting and project analysis providing the insights our teams need to keep projects on track and running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data collaborating with project managers and finding practical solutions to keep projects moving forward efficiently.
What Your Day Will Look Like:
- Partner with 56 project managers to support projects at various stages of design and construction.
- Develop maintain and update cost reports cash flows and forecasts.
- Ensure accurate reporting and quality checks on all project controls deliverables.
- Compare schedules to financial data to verify project timelines align.
- Integrate and analyze data in Excel using formulas pivot tables macros etc.
- Review upstream/downstream change orders and track budgets against POs and subcontracts.
- Translate cost schedule and contract data into actionable insights to support project decision-making across multiple capital projects.
- Serve as the PM-facing project controls partner and primary point of contact for cost reporting forecasting commitments and change management questions providing technical guidance to APMs PMs Lead Engineers and Construction staff.
- Ensure the quality accuracy and consistency of project controls deliverables through structured quality checks and reporting standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What Youll Bring to the Familia:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or Business.
- 4 years of related experience in project controls or construction/project management support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think independently and make quick sound decisions.
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP preferred.
- Ability to travel and a valid drivers license.
