At Make Product Designers turn complex automation into intuitive product experiences. We work closely with product managers and engineers to design flows interfaces and interactions that help users build and manage workflows with confidence. As a Product Design Intern youll work on real product surfaces prototype ideas in Figma and contribute to improvements across onboarding core product flows and the design system.

1) Product Design Intern Growth
Design and iterate on high-visibility experiences that impact acquisition activation and engagement.
Examples of what you may work on:
- Visual experiments across key product surfaces (dashboard resource hub high-traffic UI areas)
- Improving onboarding journeys through discovery and ideation
- Building reusable UI components in collaboration with Growth and Design System experts
2) Product Design Intern Core Automation
Improve the foundational workflows that power how users build and manage automations in Make.
Examples of what you may work on:
- Patterns for scenario organization (subfolders labels advanced filtering)
- Enhancing navigation areas (customization profile user settings)
- Improving interaction patterns in the scenario builder (menus copy/paste cloning lovability)
During the process we evaluate your skills and interests. Final placement is based on team fit and where you can grow fastest.
What youll actually do
This is not a shadowing internship. You will:
- Design and iterate in Figma (flows wireframes prototypes UI)
- Partner closely with designers product managers and engineers to ship improvements
- Translate insights into clear design hypotheses and testable ideas
- Participate in critiques learn to defend decisions with rationale and iterate fast
- Contribute to consistency and scalability by working within a design system
You will be supported by a dedicated mentor and structured onboarding.
Who we are looking for
Core requirements:
- Foundational UX knowledge (basic UX principles visual design fundamentals product thinking)
- Figma proficiency (wireframing prototyping visual design)
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- AI literacy and curiosity (interest in using AI tools to work better)
- Platform fluency (Slack Google Workspace etc.)
Mindset matters:
- You are curious eager to learn and open to feedback and iteration
- You communicate proactively and are not afraid to ask questions
- You can move fast without losing attention to detail
