Job Summary
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on skills in GCP Hive Spark and Python. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring highquality data delivery for business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain data pipelines on GCP using industry best practices.
- Work extensively with Hive Spark and Python for data ingestion transformation and processing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into technical solutions.
- Participate in daily stand-ups sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Conduct code reviews provide feedback and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members when required.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience in Data Engineering (68 years).
- Hands-on expertise in:
- GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Hive Spark Python
- Data pipelines ETL/ELT processes
- Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodology.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git JIRA Confluence.

- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proactive self-driven and able to take ownership of tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
