Job Summary

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is accepting applications for the Intervention Program Technician positions for the 2026 Extended School Year (ESY). The ESY will once again run to meet the mandates of any and all IEP needs and be administered from June 2 2026 through June 29 2026. Staff will be selected based on the enrollment and IEP needs of the students in grades Preschool and Kindergarten through 8th grade. Must be available to work every day of the assignment. Staff will be working with students both in the classroom and on the playground/or outside. May perform basic first aid services.

  • WORK SITE:San Onofre School
  • WORK SCHEDULE:5.5 hours/day 5 days/week Monday - Friday Hours 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • EXTENDED YEAR SUMMER PROGRAM: 6/02/2026 - 6/29/2026
  • SALARY: Intervention Program Technician - Step 7 $26.31/hour
  • REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Experience working under the direction of a classroom teacher providing small group instruction. Ability to work indoors/outside. Experience or training managing student behaviours and small groups. Ability to supervise students outside.Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associates Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; experience working with people of various cultures; one (1) year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable supplemented by courses in childcare supervision psychology or guidance; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired.

    Bilingual and Migrant experiencepreferred and will be prioritized.
