Position Overview
The Plastisol Technician supports production operations by coating tools and components using plastisol dipping processes and ensuring parts are properly cured and inspected before moving to the next stage of manufacturing. This Plastisol Technician role is responsible for maintaining consistent workflow while ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards.
The ideal Plastisol Technician is dependable detail-oriented and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment where attention to product quality and process accuracy is essential.
Required Experience & Skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail for quality inspection
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Load tools and components scheduled for plastisol coating
Dip tools and parts into plastisol according to production procedures
Operate and monitor curing ovens to ensure proper curing of coated parts
Remove finished parts from ovens after curing cycles are complete
Inspect coated products to verify full curing and absence of defects
Maintain consistent production flow throughout the shift
Report equipment issues or product defects to the supervisor
Maintain a clean organized and safety-focused work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
Preferred Experience
Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with heat exposure from curing ovens
Frequent standing and repetitive production tasks
Handling of tools and materials used in production processes
