Whatyoullachieve

As aNursingAssistantyoullplay a key role in supporting dialysis care for patients with chronic kidney disease.Youllwork closely with a multidisciplinary teamassistpatients throughout their treatment journey and helpmaintainthe highest standards of hygiene and safetymaking a real difference every single day.

You will:

Assistsin the preparation of materialsiefistula kits bloodlinessubkits subclavian kits etc. ensure that all itemsfor dialysis treatment are in good condition prior to actual treatment
Assistsin patient admission procedures such as taking of vital signs preparation of documents
Ensures all specimens are appropriately packaged labeled sealed according to policies and procedures relating to shipment of blood or body fluid specimens and potentially hazardous material prepares specimens for shipment and monitors delivery and submission of specimens and receipt of results
Reports malfunctioning dialysis equipment or apparatus such as Bp app glucometer thermometer pulse ox Glucometer to Charge Nurse TeamLeaderor Unit Head
Assistsnurses in receiving patients into the treatment area transporting them into the dialysis station
