Job Summary
The Director of Golf (Golf Professional) serves as Bent Trees golf ambassador and a highly visible leader responsible for delivering a best-in-class member-first golf experience through elevated service standards clear and proactive communication exceptional programming and high-performing teams. This role provides full operational leadership across tournaments instruction tee sheet and play management retail performance and outside servicesincluding pace of play golf operations and cart fleet excellencewhile partnering closely with Club leadership the General Manager who is a PGA Master Professional and key stakeholders to ensure a successful course reopening and sustained excellence thereafter.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate the team to provide best-in-class member and guest service and hold them accountable to standards
Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Strong financial and organizational skills
Plan and execute an exceptional member tournament program
Hospitable engaging and polished demeanor and personality
Creative merchandising expertise overseeing a $1M golf shop
Detail and process-oriented
Tee time management and golf course optimization
High level of honesty integrity and transparency
Excellent communicator and speaker
Creativity in planning new events and/or innovative programs
Passion for teaching and playing with club members
Ability to be the face of Bent Tree Country Club in the community and the golf industry
Including but not limited to the following:
Three years or more of experience as a Head Professional at a private equity club or a minimum of five years as First Assistant at top tier private equity club is preferred.
Class A PGA Member in good standing
Four-year university degree
The club will provide a compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
