Description

The purpose of this role is to support global benefit efforts for researching analyzing and cataloging Church Employee benefits throughout the world requiring expert professional knowledge.

Employees at this level work under minimal supervision have comprehensive working knowledge including knowledge of standard HR systems and tools and can handle concurrent projects.

This individual is a member of the Global Total Rewards Department and reports to the Manager of International Total Rewards with frequent partnerships with the Human Resource Department leaders and Area leaders and teams COEs and external vendors.

This is a time-bound position and will last no longer than October of 2027.

Accountable to deliver the following essential activities to several departments and/or areas by acting as a point of contact and steward of:

  • Benefits Inventory Maintenance/Updates and InfoGuide (internal programs)
    • Data Collectionusing foundational benefits knowledge research and organize benefits data from various sources and across different regions ensuring accuracy and completeness evaluating current state versus approved benefits for each jurisdiction.
    • Data Managementindependently design and implement an inventory of approved and existing benefits around the world.
    • Data Quality Controlimplement processes to maintain inventory and InfoGuide to ensure integrity for reporting and citation purposes.
    • Reportingcreate comprehensive reports for an expert audience and present the information in an understandable format for stakeholders.
  • Support Total Rewards business outputs and technology rollouts
    • Collaboration work closely with Global HR Benefits Specialists Area HR and Centers of Excellence to ensure the data supports strategic decision-making
    • Vendor coordination for benefits technology. Engage with external vendors as well as internal systems including potential integration between systems. Serves as point of contact and project lead from Benefits team working with HRIS to operationalize new module within Oracle HCM.
  • Market Data Tracker Benefit Update Coordination support

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • 4 years related experience
  • Comprehensive HR operational knowledge
  • Key skills and core competencies include the ability to:
    • Build relationships with stakeholders and consult with business leaders
    • Deliver excellent customer service
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present data insights to non-technical stakeholders
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret research and design inventory
    • Utilize tools such as Excel SharePoint internal programs and vendor systems
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing and analyzing data
    • Seeing and understanding the story data tells
    • Works with minimal to moderate oversight and meets established deadlines
    • Thrives in both a team environment and as an individual contributor

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment

Preferred:

  • Experience with Oracle HCM a plus
  • Global benefits consulting experience a plus
  • The ideal candidate will bring a genuine passion for employee benefits
