The Property Operations Superintendent will support property operations by performing routine maintenance and inspections coordinating vendors and contractors overseeing event set-up and tear-down and identifying and addressing property issues as they arise. The Property Operations Superintendent also acts as an ambassador for Port KC in the field helping ensure properties are safe functional and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities
- Serves as the on-site representative responsible for the day-to-day operation and condition of assigned Port KC properties
- Supervises event set up and tear down at Port KC properties with vendors and organizers
- Coordinates and completes required inspections for Port KC properties
- Verifies work compliance and completion and communicates issues or deficiencies to supervisors
- Completes additional training or certifications as required
- Reports regularly and as needed to supervisor on Port KC properties
- Coordinates property access with third party contractors and vendors
- Identifies property issues and reports security concerns at Port KC properties
- Maintains records of maintenance activities repairs and equipment inventories
- Coordinates general grounds maintenance at Port KC properties
- Weekend work may be required
- 25 - 50% local travel required
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors
What You Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or GED
- Three plus years of general building and grounds maintenance experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic plumbing painting carpentry HVAC and electrical tasks
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Knowledge of the infrastructure and its controls
- Valid drivers license required
- Use of personal vehicle may be required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of machinery and tool usage
- Ability to identify and prioritize work to be performed
