Your Responsibilities
As Warehouse Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for all warehouse processes including staff and shift coordination. You ensure compliance with safety standards regulations and occupational health and safety requirements while continuously driving operational improvement on site.
You will also collaborate closely with our locations in South Africa and Sweden supporting logistics processes as well as procurement activities.
Key Tasks
- Planning instructing and supervising the work of team members
- Supporting and deputizing for the Outbound Manager in planning and executing duty/rotation schedules
- Responsibility for the warehouse the team and ensuring continuity of all logistics processes
- Continuous control of team performance and proposing improvement measures to management
- Responsibility for stock levels and availability of all products/items
- Monitoring product status including items being phased out or modified
- Coordinating regular stock counts in all warehouses in cooperation with the Stock Controller
- Coordination and implementation of process improvements
- Developing proposals for process and warehouse optimization and implementing them after alignment
- Coordinating maintenance activities for equipment and tools including communication with external service providers
- Coordinating freight carriers for pick-ups shipments etc.
- Organizing container and goods arrivals including related personnel planning
- Communication and alignment with management headquarters and the ECom Manager regarding imports stock levels processes and warehouse systems
As part of deputization or according to management instruction:
- Goods receipt (acceptance inspection booking and storage)
- Handling transport damages/claims with logistics service providers
- Performing inventory adjustments in alignment with the accounting department
- Registering shipments with freight carriers
- Communication with suppliers
- Communication with Dometic units
- Inventory and stock control
- Ensuring compliance with internal regulations
- Monitoring packaging material stock and placing orders with suppliers
- Ensuring correct and compliant customs handling and embargo compliance with our customs agent and logistics coordinator
- Monitoring proper training and validity of forklift licenses driving permits and safety training for all logistics employees
