A Day in the Life
Are you ready to make a global impact Medtronics Sales Finance Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking an experienced and motivated financial professional to support 12 diverse Operating Units across Cardiovascular Neuroscience Medical Surgical portfolios and the Global Commercial Operations & Customer Experience (GCCX) organization.
As a key member of our team youll collaborate with internal business partners to drive financial planning forecasting reporting and expense analysis. We leverage shared knowledge to deliver best-in-class FP&A support empowering our businesses to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities may include:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):Support Sales Organizations with financial planning forecasting and expense reporting.
- OneStream Ownership:Manage all forecast and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) system submissions.
- Monthly Reporting & Analysis:Develop and maintain monthly reporting and journal entry templates; provide ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Standardized Reporting:Create and sustain standardized reporting and analytics to streamline processes across all Operating Units.
- Centralized Expenses:Oversee FP&A activities for centrally managed costs (e.g. auto reimbursement Presidents Club credentialing property taxes).
- Cost Center Management:Administer all aspects of cost centers including structure ownership and allocations.
- Systems Collaboration:Partner with the Systems team to optimize tools and reporting capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement:Utilize data and insights to drive ongoing process enhancements.
Required Knowledge:
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
- 4 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience
- FP&A experience
- Expertise in leveraging systems and data for insightful analysis
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; adept at multitasking and adapting to shifting priorities
- Knowledge of GAAP and Medtronic accounting policies
- Ability to standardize work processes and procedures
- Familiarity with Medtronic financial systems (SAP OneStream)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word)
- Ability to complete standard and repetitive tasks efficiently
