Program Summary
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management civil engineering morale welfare and recreation support among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Food service attendants/grill cooks assist in all food service-related tasks. They must follow the cooks orders. Occasionally the supervisor on duty will also require assistance from the attendants.
Due to the nature of the operation this can be a labor-intensive job due to the hours of operation and food preparation on demand. Must work shifts.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve and replenish food on the serving line. Clean and sanitize equipment in accordance with proper procedures.
- Load and unload food supplies and equipment. Operate dishwasher following posted instructions.
- Clean outside of building; wash garbage cans and facility areas. Wash pots and pans.
- Assist cook with food preparation. Prepare and serve grilled food. Follow standard recipes.
- Adhere to all safety instructions. Always wear required personal protective equipment.
Basic Qualifications
- Food Handlers Certificate.
- Secondary school grade diploma.
- Minimum of one year experience in restaurant/hospitality environment.
- Basic level of English.
Preferred Qualifications
- B2 level English.
- Experience as a supervisor in a food service/large restaurant kitchen.
