W Brisbane located at 81 N Quay Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring a Full Time Pastry Demi Chef. As a Pastry Demi Chef in a luxury hotel you will have the opportunity to uphold the exceptional culinary standards expected in a premium hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards presentation standards and food preparation checklists
• Oversee a specific section of the kitchen ensuring consistent food quality efficient service and smooth kitchen operations
• Support the senior Pastry chefs by ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service
• Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked workstation while upholding all hygiene food safety and sanitation protocols
• Contribute to mentoring and guiding junior chefs and kitchen team members as needed
• Ensure the work station is organized restocked and adhering to hygiene and safety standards
