What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting tax financial plans and policies of the organization establishes and maintains fiscal controls prepares and interprets financial reports oversees financial systems and safeguards the organizations assets.
Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.
Qualifications
- 35 years of progressive experience in:
- Financial reporting and controlling
- Internal controls compliance or audit
- Finance operations in a shared services multinational or regulated environment
- Prior exposure to external audit internal audit or SOX environments is an advantage
- CPA MBA is preferred but not required
What is expected of you and others at this level
- Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
- May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Works on complex projects of large scope
- Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
- Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
- Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects
- Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
- May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
