Plant Manager - Renewable Energy
Location: LaSalle CO
Salary expectation: Circa $170000
Our client is seeking a Plant Manager for its Biogas Facility inColorado. This position will provide leadership for plant operations focusing on plant health safety environmental compliance and maximizing growth and profitability.
The Plant Manager will be responsible for day-to-day leadership of all operations functions at this dairy manure digester biogas to renewable natural gas (RNG) facility.
Responsibilities:
Develop and recommend operations policies goals and objectives.
Lead the creation of annual goals budgets and short-term plans with supporting data.
Oversee capital project budgets monitor expenses and ensure compliance within the established budget.
Supervise and manage plant operations personnel ensuring proper training and development.
Ensure OSHA-required safety training and emergency response programs are in place.
Provide operational reports and participate in conference calls and meetings with stakeholders.
Maintain clear communications with team members and senior management.
Lead the review of plant performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in managing operating and maintaining anaerobic digester facilities is required.
Bachelors degree or appropriate facility management experience preferred.
Strong leadership and participative management style.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as well as adverse weather conditions.
