Job Summary
Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Emergency & Surgery
Assignment Type: Travel / Contract
Location: Cleveland OH
Schedule
Shift: Night Shift (3rd Shift)
Days: Wednesday Saturday
Hours: 7:30 PM 6:00 AM
Compensation
Travel Pay: $2150/week
Local Pay: $1800/week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to support imaging services within Emergency and Surgical departments in a fast-paced hospital environment. The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnostic Imaging
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations for emergency surgical and general imaging cases.
Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Patient Care
Prepare and educate patients regarding radiologic procedures.
Maintain patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
Equipment Operation
Operate digital X-ray systems and related radiology equipment.
Maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with facility protocols.
Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with physicians nurses and surgical teams to provide timely imaging support.
Accurately document procedures according to facility and regulatory standards.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging procedures
Experience supporting emergency department imaging
Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environments
Knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning techniques
Required Qualifications
ARRT Certification Required
BLS Certification (AHA) Required
35 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in emergency and surgical imaging environments
Experience with advanced digital imaging systems
