Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join a fast-paced acute care hospital for a night shift assignment. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and adherence to imaging protocols. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented technically proficient and comfortable working independently in an overnight setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and proper imaging techniques
• Maintain radiation safety standards for patients and staff
• Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment
• Review images for quality clarity and accuracy prior to submission
• Provide patient care education and support throughout procedures
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Ability to work independently in a night shift environment
• Acute care experience preferred

Education Requirements

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field Required

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Required
• Active Oregon State Radiologic License Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required
