Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join a fast-paced acute care hospital for a night shift assignment. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and adherence to imaging protocols. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented technically proficient and comfortable working independently in an overnight setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
Ensure accurate patient positioning and proper imaging techniques
Maintain radiation safety standards for patients and staff
Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment
Review images for quality clarity and accuracy prior to submission
Provide patient care education and support throughout procedures
Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system
Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance issues as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
Ability to work independently in a night shift environment
Acute care experience preferred
Education Requirements
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field Required
Certifications & Licensure
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Required
